"Safari
Down Under,” is the theme
chosen for the 2008 Off the
Beaten Path - A Quilter’s Safari
adventure to be held April
25-May 3.
Hosted by quilt
shops in Oregon’s Willamette
Valley, participants travel
from shop to shop having their
passport stamped along the way.
A pattern for each block or
component in our 2008 Safari
Quilt is given out at each of
the participating shops. When
the passports are completed,
they become a ticket for
entry to a drawing for prizes.
There are hundreds of prizes.
Specially designed t-shirts
for sale.
Participants
gather steps to quilt construction
as they journey to each shop.
Quilter’s Safari
has become known for its Eunice
P. Fogbottom mascot. Eunice will
again be visiting shops during
the hop handing out door prizes
and coupons.
